In our Basic Life Support classes, students will learn techniques for providing immediate care to those in critical conditions. From assessing vital signs to administering rescue ventilations and high-quality CPR, this course is crucial for healthcare professionals.

We prioritize practical learning through hands-on exercises and high-quality simulated scenarios to prepare you for real-life emergencies. Students will complete about two hours of training online prior to participating in the in-person skills session, where they will perform single-provider, two-provider, and three provider BLS across four patients. Each of the four patient scenarios lasts about thirty minutes, followed by a brief debriefing session and a five-minute break between each patient.

Classes are offered in a hybrid format through the American Red Cross or a fully in-person format through the American Heart Association.

Knowing how to respond to a life-threatening allergic reaction can save a life. Our 1½-hour classes on life-threatening allergic reactions provide essential skills and knowledge to help students recognize and respond to the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis. Students will identify triggers, administer life-saving medications such as epinephrine, and take the critical steps to ensure professional medical care is received promptly.

We offer those currently certified in the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED course the opportunity to become American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructors themselves. Our 9-hour First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor courses will give students the knowledge, resources, and skills they need to effectively teach classes and issue certifications to their workplace, friends, families, or community.
